Toyota Indiana Plant Builds Its Five Millionth Vehicle

Toyota has reached another milestone in its long history—this time the milestone was set by the Toyota Indiana plant, which just saw its five millionth vehicle roll off the assembly line.

The plant produced its first vehicle nearly 20 years ago, back in 1998. Fast forward to 2017 when a Toyota Sequoia Platinum became the plant’s five millionth vehicle to make it through production. The plant has grown to 5,300 hardworking and will soon benefit from a $4.3 billion investment from Toyota.
